In this time and age, social media is a tool that has built, fostered and united many communities and causes. It has also been an avenue for critical thought and discussion, which has not only aided in the empowerment of the grassroots of this country, but also in the cultivation of a very progressive culture.
An attempt to silence the voice of the critical masses of this society is a clear attempt to undermine the very foundations of this democracy.
