Just in case someone needs a refresher, demographics refer to the matter-of-fact details of a person (age, which can be indicated in a range sometimes; place of birth, place of residence, family background, salary and ethnicity, etc.). On the other hand, psychographics refer to a consumer's lifestyle. This refers to a person's interests, lifestyle, habits, day-to-day schedule and personal preferences.
What I really liked about the lifestyle snapshot is how it is able to combine both of these characteristics into a graphically and visually engaging piece of work. Furthermore, it's a healthy way of assessing who you are and where you stand in your life as of the moment. Personally, it is also a great way of looking back at the different activities you've been involved with (e.g. mine intertwined with my most recent Emerson College semester).

My Lifestyle Snapshot |
I personally see this as a very interesting form of self-expression as well as a holistic way of viewing a person since it exceeds baseless book-cover judgments and understands someone based on a (for a lack of a better term) demographic and psychographic perspective.
How about you, what's your lifestyle snapshot?
I want to make one. Hihihi!
ReplyDeletefan mode: it's kind of sick, but can i print your snapshot and post it in my room? hehehe!
thanks for the inspiration mr. su?
